The Colorado Department of Transportation has produced a safety video where they hired a professional makeup company to show the potential injuries to a motorcycle wreck victim in the absence of wearing a helmet and leather gear. Motorcycle rights advocates say this is another example of the use of taxpayer funds to shift the blame of motorcycle injuries to the rider instead of using the funds to educate the public to watch out for motorcyclists.
