NBC’s Hoda Kotb pissed off a lot of leather-wearing motorcycle riding enthusiasts with an offhand comment about the time she and Kathie Lee Gifford went to a biker bar, called Alabama Jacks in 2013. “We dressed in leather, like a couple of losers really, like at the biker bar,” Kotb said. Alabama Jacks is located in Key Largo Florida and is a frequent hangout of locals and motorcycle riders.
Bikers took their anger to the Facebook page for the show writing, “Saw the comments made about dressing up like losers in leather and going to Alabama Jacks. You just lost a loser in leather for rating ladies…have fun in your plastic, fake Barbie world!” Another wrote, "I am seriously offended at Hoda's reference to dressing in leather and going to a biker bar as "dressing as losers". Obviously, she needs to get her head out of her dressing room and look at the facts. We are lawyers, doctors, secretaries, mechanics, military, police, college graduates, mothers, and fathers."

Im not offended because so many closed-minded people today have preconceived notions about people or things they don’t understand, its human nature to shun or destroy things they don’t understand.
Wow I used to watch the show every day but I guess I’m going to take my looser leather wearing biker self someplace else.Enjoy your life living in your bubble.
really ladies thought you were better educated, than to make such a stupid comment. People who enjoy the freedom of the road come in all makes an models. Doctors lawyers nurses caregivers every walk of life. It saddens me to see how you can stereo type people that way, that’s not anyway for some one who sets in the public eye to behave. This is America an believe it or not some one who rides a bike dresses in leather, was probably responsible for fighting some where so you had the freedom to voice your opinion, but because they dress in leather you refer to them as losers.. SHAME ON YOU!!!
I am a Christian biker and far from being a loser ! I am a mother and grandmother that loves my Jesus wearing leathers and riding my Harley …Hoda & Kathy sit in front of camera’s wearing designer clothes tons of make up ,and drink wine in the AM on public tv….To me they are the losers …I have officially denounced the Kathy & Hoda Wine-O ’s show ! BTW ..I love all of you biker brother & sisters we stick together no matter what walks of life we are from !
I will not be watching them any more. They have no idea how to live life, riding a bike is a great stress relief. And seriously who are the losers when you start drinking wine that early in the morning.
