Augusta Georgia television station WRDW is reporting that former Georgia State Senator Joey Brush was killed while riding his motorcycle this morning in Columbia County. Reports are that an SUV driven by Kimberly Crouch pulled in Brush's path at Louisville Rd and Columbia Rd.
Brush, the Lobbyist for ABATE of Georgia was on his way to meet with Governor Nathan Deal to discuss legislation he and other motorcyclists around the state worked to get passed this session which Deal has said he will veto, under pressure from Insurance groups.
Crouch is at fault and charges are pending in the accident.
