The estate of a Hilliard Ohio polofficpolice officer killed in a crash during motorcycle training in 2016 is going after two motorcycle manufacturers and their trainers in court. The administrator for the estate of Sean Johnson accuses Victory Police Motorcycles LLC and its director of sales, Michael Schultz, and Polaris Industries, Inc., and its trainer, Timothy Klenk, of negligence that resulted in Johnson’s fatal motorcycle crash during a training run on May 19, 2016. Phoenix: USA Today is reporting that a Tesla Model X reportedly rear-ended a Phoenix Police officer while stopped at the on ramp to the Black Canyon Freeway last week. The officer, who was in front of the Tesla driver, stopped for a stoplight, police said. After also stopping briefly, the Tesla began moving forward, prompting the officer to jump off his motorcycle and move away. It was supposed to be a charity event to raise money for a facility that helps educate kids with special disabilities and kids diagnosed with cancer, but the Porter County Sheriff Department in Valparaiso Indiana saw it differently and saturated the area with over 70 law enforcement officers, members of the SWAT team and even brought in a helicopter for good measure.
