Serenity Prayer Spinning Ring

As early as the 1930's this prayer, in various forms, was being printed in newspaper articles and quoted in the pulpits around the globe.  It's author is credited as being American theologian Reinhold Niebuhr and has been adopted by various addiction recovery groups, most notably Alcoholics Anonymous.  But, it's message is relevant and timely for anyone who is struggling through a personal crisis.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.
