Four Injured by Inattentive Driver

Ft. Worth TX Four member of the Fort Worth Harley Owners group were injured when a vehicle plowed into their pack of 60 riders while on a charity ride in late July.  The driver of the van hit a retaining wall on I-30 causing the air bags to deploy which momentarily blinded the driver who then careened into the oncoming group of riders.    “Watching the car go into the line of motorcycles was almost like watching bowling pins  because that’s really what it was like because the car kept bouncing off different motorcycles and motorcycles kept bouncing off the car,” a rider told NBCDFW televsion news.  Police say the accident was caused by “driver inattention" but at least one of the riders believes the driver was texting.    Read the story here
