The dark character continues with black handlebars, mirrors, control plates, rear brake and gear levers. Contrasting to the black are the specially machined cam bore finishers and the striking Nightstorm emblem.
The finishing touch is provided by the new nubbed design seat, which adds another dash of style plus added comfort . The stitched paneling gives a distinctive look and is embossed with the Triumph logo.
The centerpiece of the Thunderbird Nightstorm Special Edition is an acclaimed l699cc parallel-twin cruiser engine. Its massive 107.1 mm pistons pump out a tire-shredding 98PS. with a tidal wave of spectacular 156Nm of torque arriving at just 2950rpm. The Thunderbird Nightstorm Special Edition guarantees a dramatic and engaging ride every time the motor is fired up.
Power delivery is smooth, refined and always controllable thanks to the twin balancer shafts and a sophisticated sequential fuel injection system. The motor's 270 degree off-beat firing Interval adds a distinctive churning character to its delivery
The Thunderbird Nightstorm utilizes the same chassis as the Thunderbird. Itself much lauded for its un-cruiser like poise and controlled handling characteristics, the Nightstorm is endowed with equally outstanding agility and precision. Fat 47mm Showa forks, preload adjustable twin Showa rear shocks and painstakingly refined geometry result in stability at speed, but amazing steering response and agility at all speeds, even in slower, tighter maneuvers that sometimes make cruisers work hard, the Thunderbird Nightstorm retains a highly manageable balance.
