Due to loose bolts the side stand interlock switch may fail. On the GSX-R1000 models, failure of the switch will terminate the ignition circuit. As a result, the engine will stop running, increasing the risk of a crash. Suzuki will notify owners, and Suzuki dealers will replace the side stand interlock switch bolts, free of charge.
