Harley Will Throttle Back on Kansas City Jobs

According to the Kansas City Business Journal, Harley-Davidson has told the state of Missouri it will lay off over 20% of its workforce by May 11, 2015.  The KCBJ report says the company reported it will fire 169 employees but did not specify the reason, whether it was a slow down in sales, or productivity improvements or shifting jobs to other factories.

So far Harley-Davidson has not released an official press release concerning the layoffs.
