AMA Sanctions Three Arenacross Series for 2026-2027 Season

AMA Sanctions Three Arenacross Series for 2026-2027 Season

The American Motorcyclist Association will sanction three separate Arenacross championship series for the 2026-2027 racing season to accommodate rising rider participation across the country. Racing for the new season opened on October 16 at F&M Bank Arena in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Under the AMA sanctioning framework, the AMA Partzilla Arenacross Series anchors the schedule as the National Championship, dividing its competition into East and West regions. Regional titles will also be contested across two additional series: the AMA GT Arenacross Series handles Midwest regional competition, while the AMA Throttlecross Series covers the Rocky Mountain region.

The setup creates an advancement route for grassroots and professional racers, culminating in a national showdown for developing talent. The five highest-finishing amateur riders across the East, West, and Midwest regions will advance to the AMA Arenacross Amateur Championship Finale. That final championship event will take place at Lincoln Trail in Casey, Illinois, from May 21 to May 23, 2027.
