BMW Motorrad announced the all-new 2027 F 450 RR on October 15, 2026, expanding its entry-level twin lineup with a dedicated lightweight supersport platform. The new model gives sportbike riders and track-day enthusiasts an approachable option built with BMW supersport chassis dynamics and factory rider aids.
According to release information published by the BMW Group PressClub, the F 450 RR is powered by a newly developed 420cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. The unit produces 48 horsepower at 8,750 rpm and 43 Nm of torque.
The motorcycle carries a ready-to-ride curb weight of 177 kg (390 lbs). Taking design inspiration directly from the flagship S 1000 RR, the F 450 RR features sharp bodywork complemented by integrated aerodynamic winglets.
The electronic package includes three selectable riding modes: Rain, Road, and Race. Cornering-sensitive ABS Pro comes standard, and BMW also offers an optional Easy-Ride-Clutch (ERC) system.
