BMW Unveils F 450 RR Sports Bike on New 450cc Platform

BMW Motorrad expanded its motorcycle lineup on October 23, 2026, with the launch of the F 450 RR. The new sports bike marks the third model built on the manufacturer's 450cc platform, according to reporting from New Atlas.
At the core of the motorcycle is a 420cc twin-cylinder engine tuned for sport riding. The machine utilizes a tubular-steel space frame and shares its underlying chassis architecture with the F 450 GS adventure motorcycle.
Styling for the F 450 RR borrows heavily from BMW's liter-class S 1000 RR. Visual features include race-focused styling, aerodynamic winglets, and an S 1000 RR-inspired split-face front profile.
By bringing race-derived visual cues and ergonomics down to a smaller engine capacity, the F 450 RR provides an approachable option for newer or value-conscious sportbike riders looking for a smaller-displacement platform.
