Bobby Fong Signs With OrangeCat Racing BMW for 2027 MotoAmerica Superbike Campaign

Reigning MotoAmerica Superbike champion Bobby Fong has signed a multi-year contract with OrangeCat Racing to contest the MotoAmerica Superbike Championship for the 2027 and 2028 seasons.

As reported by Cycle News and Motorcycle.com, Fong will ride the BMW M 1000 RR alongside Sean Dylan Kelly. The signing brings the top two riders from the 2026 series together under one tent, as Kelly finished runner-up to Fong in the standings.

Fong earned the 2026 MotoAmerica Quad Lock Superbike Championship with Attack Performance Progressive Yamaha, securing the title at New Jersey Motorsports Park. The agreement with OrangeCat Racing marks a manufacturer change for his upcoming title defense, placing both Fong and Kelly on official BMW Motorrad-supported machinery through 2028.
