City of Sturgis Seeks Consultant to Expand Rally Sponsorship and Licensing Program

The City of Sturgis has put out a call for an experienced consultant to help grow its Rally sponsorship and trademark-licensing program. The city council approved the move on October 5.

The program covers official Rally sponsorships, promotional opportunities on city property and digital channels, and licensing of city-owned trademarks for merchandise. The city says it will keep control of the program, sign sponsors and licensees directly, and collect the revenue.

The work would cover the 2027, 2028, and 2029 rallies. The first job is selling sponsorship opportunities for 2027.

Mayor Rod Bradley said the city wants to manage the Rally wisely as a community asset while protecting its motorcycle identity.

Responses to the city request are due November 15, 2026, at 5 PM Mountain Time. Details are on the City of Sturgis website.
