DUI Suspects Hits Motorcyclist and Continues Home with Bike Stuck To Front Bumper

According to a report in the local media,   29-year-old William Pruett has been charged  with DUI, assault first degree, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, and leaving the scene of an accident with injuries after police say he hit a motorcyclist on Rangeline Rd and Hall Mill Road and then left the scene with the victim's motorcycle still attached to his Jeep's front bumper.

The 49 year olf victim, who was not identified, was taken to a local hospital and is in critical condition.

Police were tipped off that the vehicle and the driver were nearby on Halls Mills Rd.  Police records show Purett was charged with DUI in 2008.
