The City of Galveston and Lone Star Rally organizers have finalized traffic configurations and downtown staging plans ahead of the rally scheduled for November 5-8, 2026.
According to the City of Galveston Special Events department, westbound Seawall Boulevard will close between 19th and 25th Streets starting Wednesday, November 4, at 9 a.m. Westbound traffic will be detoured around the section, while eastbound lanes on Seawall Boulevard will remain open for cruisers and other vehicles.
Organizers expect more than 400,000 attendees and over 150,000 motorcycles to arrive on the island during the four-day run. Official event activities will remain centered along The Strand, Pier 21, and Beach Central Park.
To handle the expected traffic volume, the city has organized designated vehicle parking lots, park-and-ride shuttles, and island trolley routes to move visitors between major rally hubs.
