Wednesday June 7, 2017: A Caltrans work crew was clearing tall bushes, reeds and shrubs from along Highway 37, near San Pablo Bay when they uncovered a submerged motorcycle and a body, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The victim was identified as Dailey Sparks, 51, of Vallejo CA.
CHP is seeking anyone who might have last seen the victim or have any information. Sparks apparently ran off the road on the north side and was thrown from his bike. The crash was never reported, and officials are unsure when the incident occured.
CHP officials asked anyone with information to contact officers at 707‑428‑2100 or on the nonemergency line, 1‑800‑TELL‑CHP.
