Kawasaki Teases Upcoming KLE650 Middleweight Adventure Motorcycle
Share
Kawasaki has released teaser previews across its official media channels showcasing an all-new KLE650 middleweight adventure motorcycle. The video corroborates recent Australian regulatory type-approval filings submitted under designation LE650L for a model named KLE 650 (SE).
Footage published by the manufacturer reveals several hardware features, including Kawasaki's signature green tubular trellis frame, dual front disc brakes, dedicated adventure crash bars, and a distinct engine casing. The components position the bike as a rugged big brother to the KLE500 and a dirt-capable companion to the pavement-oriented Versys 650.
Middleweight adventure touring remains one of the fastest-growing categories in North America. Bringing a dirt-capable 650cc twin to market gives Kawasaki riders an off-road alternative within the brand's middleweight lineup.
A full global reveal for the KLE650 is anticipated ahead of upcoming international motorcycle shows.
