OBSIDIAN: A Super Meteor 650 Chopper Built to Be Ridden

OBSIDIAN is a custom chopper built by Pa'din Musa of Abah & Sons Vintage Choppers, unveiled for the first time at Art of Speed 2026 in Malaysia as part of Royal Enfield's Custom World program.

The bike is built around the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 engine, blending a classic vintage look with modern reliability. Most parts were made from scratch by Musa and his team.

The spec sheet reads like a proper old-school chopper: a custom narrow front end, 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, a twin-carburettor setup, an internal throttle, a foot clutch, and a hand-operated jockey shifter. A strong custom sissy bar can hold a duffle bag, while the built-in taillight and hidden wiring keep the design clean.

The name comes from obsidian, the black volcanic glass, and the bike follows Musa's signature style: all black with a little yellow detail. The point, he says, is that OBSIDIAN is not just for display. It is a practical custom built for traveling and enjoying the open road.
