Pier Park Will Be Open to Riders During Thunder Beach Fall Rally

The official Thunder Beach Motorcycle Rally page announced on October 17 that Pier Park will be open to riders during the fall rally, and the businesses there want bikers to stop in.

That is a change from recent rallies. In 2024 and 2025, the main road through Pier Park was closed to motorcycle traffic during Thunder Beach. Riders were not happy about it. One post about the closure drew hundreds of angry comments, with rallygoers saying the city was punishing bikers while keeping the park open for car shows.

This year the welcome mat is out. If you are in town for the rally, ride in, grab a bite, and support the shops and restaurants at Pier Park.
