Monroe County sheriff's deputies arrested a 24-year-old Ohio man following an overnight burglary at Trojan Powersports in Monroe Township, Michigan, that led to a high-speed pursuit.
According to reporting from Powersports Business, the incident began when suspects broke into the Trojan Powersports dealership and stole a red dirt bike. Responding deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the dirt bike rider fled down Telegraph Road at speeds reaching 80 mph before continuing the flight along CSX railroad tracks.
While the rider escaped on the stolen motorcycle, deputies intercepted an accompanying Ford Edge connected to the theft. Officers arrested the driver, identified as Devin Michael Rohn of Toledo, Ohio. Rohn was booked on breaking-and-entering charges, and a judge set his bond at $50,000.
Law enforcement continues to search for the second suspect who fled on the stolen red dirt bike.
