Harley-Davidson is taking factory bagger racing global in a much bigger way. The 2027 FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup Tuned by Dynojet will feature eight rounds and 16 races across seven countries. The series runs alongside MotoGP, putting American touring iron on world championship tracks.
The provisional 2027 entry list already has five teams and 11 race-prepared Harley-Davidson Road Glide motorcycles locked in. Those bikes are getting extra muscle, too. Harley updated its race-spec Road Glide setup with a modified Milwaukee-Eight 131R engine that spins to higher rpm and churns out increased horsepower.
This news applies to riders in the U.S. and across the globe, but American fans get the best seat in the house right out of the gate. The season opens on home turf at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Preseason testing runs April 17–18, 2027, followed by the opening round from April 23–25.
Watching heavy baggers drag floorboards on a MotoGP circuit never gets old. Are you planning to head to Austin in 2027 to see these Road Glides tear up COTA?
