NBC Host Calls Leather Clad Bikers "Losers"

NBC’s Hoda Kotb pissed off a lot of leather-wearing motorcycle riding enthusiasts with an offhand comment about the time she and Kathie Lee Gifford went to a biker bar, called Alabama Jacks in 2013. “We dressed in leather, like a couple of losers really, like at the biker bar,” Kotb said. Alabama Jacks is located in Key Largo Florida and is a frequent hangout of locals and motorcycle riders.
Bikers took their anger to the Facebook page for the show writing, “Saw the comments made about dressing up like losers in leather and going to Alabama Jacks. You just lost a loser in leather for rating ladies…have fun in your plastic, fake Barbie world!” Another wrote, "I am seriously offended at Hoda's reference to dressing in leather and going to a biker bar as "dressing as losers". Obviously, she needs to get her head out of her dressing room and look at the facts. We are lawyers, doctors, secretaries, mechanics, military, police, college graduates, mothers, and fathers."

Well hmmmm. I guess this looser won’t be watching them. Leather is for protection and keeping warm. SMH I am very disappointed in her and the looser comment.
These loosers come from every walk of life and provides a lot of community support. Many kids will get toys because us loosers do toy runs and offer protection to the ones abused.
I’m sure she had to much wine at 10am ! Lol she need not talk about anything she knows nothing about !!
To hear such a comment made in absolute ignorance is pathetic. First of all, leathers are for protection dumba**! The aren’t any seat belts, cardoors &/or windows to protect motorcycle enthusiasts like those driving automobiles (cages). We MUST protect ourselves because too many people are too busy messing with their phone or other things instead of paying attention to their driving. Second of all, bikers raise money for personal & private charities, i.e. Toy Runs at Christmas, Burn Survivor Rallies to support burn victims, poker runs to raise money for locals with illnesses & injuries that aren’t fully covered by insurance, etc. The benefits bikers support are too many to mention. Riding a motorcycle has many perks & those who choose to ride are often the doctor/nurse/firefighter/police officer who may save your life &/or the attorney who may save your ass.So, I would much rather be a loser in leather, Harley Davison riding, nurse than pretending to be something I’m not anyday!
I ride a ’95 FLHTCH (full dress Harley), I am a retired Marine, have my own home, everything I have is paid for, I do not have a police record, and I work full time.
I have one question.
What the heck is a Hoda Kotb ??
