NBC Host Calls Leather Clad Bikers "Losers"

NBC’s Hoda Kotb pissed off a lot of leather-wearing motorcycle riding enthusiasts with an offhand comment about the time she and Kathie Lee Gifford went to a biker bar, called Alabama Jacks in 2013. “We dressed in leather, like a couple of losers really, like at the biker bar,” Kotb said. Alabama Jacks is located in Key Largo Florida and is a frequent hangout of locals and motorcycle riders.
Bikers took their anger to the Facebook page for the show writing, “Saw the comments made about dressing up like losers in leather and going to Alabama Jacks. You just lost a loser in leather for rating ladies…have fun in your plastic, fake Barbie world!” Another wrote, "I am seriously offended at Hoda's reference to dressing in leather and going to a biker bar as "dressing as losers". Obviously, she needs to get her head out of her dressing room and look at the facts. We are lawyers, doctors, secretaries, mechanics, military, police, college graduates, mothers, and fathers."

I am a cowgirl at heart but have been associated with the most wonderful caring group of leather wearing bikers for many years and they are definitely not losers. They have done more charity work in the last 10 years that you can only imagine to do and have helped out their communities in every way they can. You have no clue who you speak of and if was one of the most ignorant comments I have ever heard. You need to apologize!!!!! Don’t speak of people and catagorize them until you really know them. I have lost all respect for you . Do the right thing now!

I am a BIKER!!! I have been riding for over 20 years. I am also a licensed Master Electrician. I AM NOT A LOSER!!! This lady obviously has no clue what she is talking about. I ride a Harley and have several friends that ride Harleys, Hondas, etc. She must not live in the real world. She hides in her fake house with her fake clothes and fake looks. At least I don’t hide who and what I am.
Can i say"OMG",what in the name of Jesus r u thinking woman? Its like the other “leather wearing losers” were saying,u just dont have a clue and i hope u r fired from all shows,u and kathy lee both. Yall dont kno anything about anything unless u r told about it but this time u spoke from ur heart and i can bet its gonna damage ur career and i pray it does.
