NBC Host Calls Leather Clad Bikers "Losers"

NBC’s Hoda Kotb pissed off a lot of leather-wearing motorcycle riding enthusiasts with an offhand comment about the time she and Kathie Lee Gifford went to a biker bar, called Alabama Jacks in 2013. “We dressed in leather, like a couple of losers really, like at the biker bar,” Kotb said. Alabama Jacks is located in Key Largo Florida and is a frequent hangout of locals and motorcycle riders.
Bikers took their anger to the Facebook page for the show writing, “Saw the comments made about dressing up like losers in leather and going to Alabama Jacks. You just lost a loser in leather for rating ladies…have fun in your plastic, fake Barbie world!” Another wrote, "I am seriously offended at Hoda's reference to dressing in leather and going to a biker bar as "dressing as losers". Obviously, she needs to get her head out of her dressing room and look at the facts. We are lawyers, doctors, secretaries, mechanics, military, police, college graduates, mothers, and fathers."

Hoda, Hoda, hoda obviously you are totally ignorant of any life other than your own and the morons you run with. You have no conception of any life other than that look at me crowd you run with so I’m going to tutor you so RING THE BELL school’s in. Lesson for today. Go to YOU TUBE type in OPEN ROAD by JOEY J and the SHOVELHEADS turn speakers up loud and watch. MAYBE just MAYBE it will register. Review as many times as necessary for your edification…. Now for the funny part. Real bikers can spot out a phony wanna be quicker that a jeweler can spot a phony diamond, you weren’t fooling any one dear. Good luck on your loss of ratings.
I am so offended by her remark……I dress in leather and am proud I am a biker. I also wear a leather skirt and leather vest to my administrative workplace. Fake people will always be fake. I am so glad I never liked their show. They get under your skin!

Their comments were totally out of line. They obviously have no ideas how expensive some bikes are. Losers can’t afford them. Bikers are regular people who enjoy the open roads. They do a lot of charity rides. Can’t believe these two are so ignorant. They should apologize on air.
Hoda has shown her true colors. Neither of them ladies deserve their time on TV. I quit watching them a long time ago when they got drunk at 7am and acted like unprofessional immature people disgracing women in general. My Mom who is 78 rides her motorcycle with full leathers. She is a real woman not a fake shallow minded person such as Hoda. And I am proud of it!!!
