NBC Host Calls Leather Clad Bikers "Losers"

NBC’s Hoda Kotb pissed off a lot of leather-wearing motorcycle riding enthusiasts with an offhand comment about the time she and Kathie Lee Gifford went to a biker bar, called Alabama Jacks in 2013. “We dressed in leather, like a couple of losers really, like at the biker bar,” Kotb said. Alabama Jacks is located in Key Largo Florida and is a frequent hangout of locals and motorcycle riders.
Bikers took their anger to the Facebook page for the show writing, “Saw the comments made about dressing up like losers in leather and going to Alabama Jacks. You just lost a loser in leather for rating ladies…have fun in your plastic, fake Barbie world!” Another wrote, "I am seriously offended at Hoda's reference to dressing in leather and going to a biker bar as "dressing as losers". Obviously, she needs to get her head out of her dressing room and look at the facts. We are lawyers, doctors, secretaries, mechanics, military, police, college graduates, mothers, and fathers."

Hoda I find your remark very offensive to my family of bikers ,calling us LOOSERS is offensive, we wear our leather to protect us ,we are NOT Loosers as you say ,we are a family who spend a lot of our free time collecting donations for charities ,donating money to charities ,we ride because we want to we donate because we CARE,we look after our Veterans because we Loosers Care ,try coming an meeting us an see what we do instead of stereo typing us ,we are all good people from different walks of life we do what we do because we CARE about others ,DO YOU ,from a LOOSER ,
Hoda, you don’t have a clue…………….do you? My husband happens to be the president of our local American Legion Riders. Our organization raises money for veterans in our area. He is a forklift tech and works hard for his money. Most of our members are former members of the military, a lot of them enduring the sites and sounds of war, that you my dear could not handle……….even on a good day. You have insulted a very large group of people that enjoy the wind in their faces and the friendships we have made. We also belong to our local ABATE chapter, we hold one of the largest Toys For Tots runs in the Midwest. There again we are helping out children that wouldn’t have a Christmas presents under the tree. Take your show and let you other “losers” watch it, as for me I won’t be watching anymore.

i’m a husband , father and bussiness owner, I recently retired as a 27 year volunteer fire fighter career. I have coached youth sports and high school football for over 24 years. I volunteer for many rides to raise money for wounded warriers, our countries vets, ride in 20 degree weather for toys for totsDOES THIS MAKE ME A LOSER , YOU ARE THE LOSER FOR YOUR REMARKS WITH OUT ANY KNOWLEDGE OF HOW MUCH THE BIKER COMMUNITY DOES.

I think what she said makes her a douche bag. I cant stand people who think they are above other people and put down people that they know nothing about. I ride a Harley and I wear leather, I don’t consider myself as a looser though. I would take a biker as a friend over them 2 any day all day.
What do you expect form ultra lib elietest main scream media person, I don’t watch ultra lib spewing vile anyway, I’m a club biker and my club has raised thousands upon thousands of dollars for this that and other charities, what has she done ? But we are loosers eh. Well I’m gonna throw my leg over my bike (that’s worth more than my 2006 Mercedes SL500) lock up my own business, head to my beautiful home, kiss my well educated beautiful wife, and try not to cry when I think about how much of a looser Hoda said I am.,,,,,,,,,,Jeeze she was probably upset cause she couldn’t get laid
