NBC Host Calls Leather Clad Bikers "Losers"

NBC’s Hoda Kotb pissed off a lot of leather-wearing motorcycle riding enthusiasts with an offhand comment about the time she and Kathie Lee Gifford went to a biker bar, called Alabama Jacks in 2013. “We dressed in leather, like a couple of losers really, like at the biker bar,” Kotb said. Alabama Jacks is located in Key Largo Florida and is a frequent hangout of locals and motorcycle riders.
Bikers took their anger to the Facebook page for the show writing, “Saw the comments made about dressing up like losers in leather and going to Alabama Jacks. You just lost a loser in leather for rating ladies…have fun in your plastic, fake Barbie world!” Another wrote, "I am seriously offended at Hoda's reference to dressing in leather and going to a biker bar as "dressing as losers". Obviously, she needs to get her head out of her dressing room and look at the facts. We are lawyers, doctors, secretaries, mechanics, military, police, college graduates, mothers, and fathers."

Well, I have never ridden on a motorcycle or wore leather, but I know that the biker do a lot in the communities that they are in. I know a group that goes to the hospital every Christmas and give sick children toys. Me personally, thinks how can a tv drunk, talk about anybody who she thinks is different. Because, I don’t know many glossy eyed people on tv, who’s work you can trust anyway. But, remember that not all people are losers for what the wear or for being different, a lot of them are being free-spirited people away from work.
here is another looser that won’t be watching your show any more. If anyone is a looser it is you. I have enjoyed riding since I was a teenager and still enjoy it when I can. A lot of my friends and relatives ride and they are firemen, police officers, military, doctors, lawyers, Owners of well established Businesses. Some are Congressmen, Mayors or City Managers, and hold positions in different companies and have pride in their jobs. I personally am retired Military, a Computer Tech and Computer Network Administrator. We enjoy riding and it being on the motorcycle helps us relax. As to the leather that also protects us in case some idiot like you run us off the road. If I am a loser then so be it but you are a bigger one then I am because I proud to know all the people that I know that ride. It is better then being a stuck B.
She is the real loser! She had a perfect chance to spend time with some of the finest people in the world, but, being closed minded, she blew it! She should really be ashamed of every breath she takes!
I am a business woman, I am not affiliated with a group because I like to make my own choices. I ride (Frieda Rome) she is a V-star 1100 Silverado which I purchased myself, I have over 25 years experience riding and driving on different brands of motorcycles. I know you have contributed to many organizations so have I. I find that getting on my motorcycle for a week end with my “loser buddies as you referred to us as” so not gracefully, whom wear leather to protect ourselves from drivers in cars (cages) whom do not look twice, is more appealing and healthier than setting behind a desk and just writing a check.
I hope her loser career goes down as fast as kathy lees singing did. She obviously watched to much tv. She has no clue what the hell shes talking about
