BMW Brings Back the RS Badge on a 215-HP M 1000 RS

BMW just brought the RS badge back to its hyper-naked stable, and it comes with serious track credentials. The 2027 BMW M 1000 RS showed up at EICMA 2026 built on the M 1000 R platform with the M Competition Package. BMW plans to build only 1,000 of these machines for the entire world.
The numbers hit hard. The bike puts out between 205 and 215 horsepower while checking in at an unladen curb weight of 196 kg, or 432 pounds wet. To keep that power planted, BMW bolted on dedicated carbon-fiber aerodynamic downforce wings. The chassis also gets M forged or carbon wheels, track-grade telemetry hardware, and specialized track calibration.
For performance riders, that puts WorldSBK electronic strategies and full carbon hardware directly into a limited-edition collector model. BMW has not confirmed a U.S. price or an American arrival date yet. With only a thousand units slotted for the entire globe, would you try to get your hands on one?
