Motorcycle Industry Council Re-Elects Three Directors to Board

The Motorcycle Industry Council announced that members have re-elected three incumbent directors to its board following an industry-wide vote, Powersports Business reported.

Ashmore Ellis, Shawn Langley, and Tim Parham will continue serving on the MIC Board of Directors. The three positions represent the aftermarket and allied trades categories across the powersports business. Ellis is widely known among riders as the co-founder of Babes Ride Out and Babes in the Dirt.

The MIC Board remains led by Chairman Derek Brooks of Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., and Vice Chairman John Hinz of KTM North America.

The trade association represents motorcycle manufacturers, distributors, and aftermarket companies before federal agencies and Congress. Its work directly affects riders through advocacy on emissions regulations, trail access, licensing requirements, and safety standards, in addition to managing grassroots rider education and safety initiatives.
